Today is the 18th January 2019. I have been resting due to a heavy chest infection. A second visit to my Doctor, for antibiotics and steroids. Halleluia, I’m almost feeling normal, I’m hoping this year will bring great and wonderful gifts of health and happiness for everyone. On March the 4th this year, I will be exactly 15 years on my Kidney machine… That’s 156 dialyses every year. Hard to believe how strong my heart and soul is.2,340 times it will be :0 Never did I fail to turn up. No matter how dreadful I felt. Only once we had the beast from the East A dreadful Snowstorm. That was when the awesome Civil Defence guys came on a rescue mission. Goodness was I relieved My legs refused to walk with a build-up of toxins and fluids. I was carried to the 4 wheel drive with great care. and the men wrapped me in a blanket To keep me warm. I never felt so grateful for these 2 angels in disguise They saved my life. I prayed with gratitude of their heroic act. At times we forget our daily lives are true miracles from above. Until my next post, Please let us always remember that thoughtful word, Thank you…
Today is the 8th of January 2019. I am delighted about a few things that I have noticed to this present January day. I actually remembered my nephew Dennys 22nd birthday. The first time in a few years, I got his card there the day before. I felt pleased with myself. We are all very proud of this hard-working nephew. He is doing an apprenticeship locally where he lives. I believe he loves his job and is very conscientious. When he finishes he will be a proper Carpet fitter. I know my mums dad would be extremely proud for our Denny.
Talk about looking for a needle in the haystack. I searched high and low today, looking for a bag of car seat covers. Well blow me away with a Tin whistle, I found things I did not know I owned. Do you think I could find them covers?. There would have been more chance of finding A snowman in hell, Awe well the NCT is due on Saturday and the Car seats would look tidier covered. A trip to town tomorrow is called for. The Car covers were not my cuppa rosy lea anyway, new ones is on the agenda. I’m in for an early start. The car Valeter coming at 09.30 am Then the Chaufer will pick me up for 10 am No rest for the early birds. I am hoping to visit Next on my trip into town. To make the best of my time off from Sid.
